A job interview is like a first date

It has the potential to be absolutely fabulous, or to scar you for eternity.
Luckily enough, Desktop Magazine's 06/09 article "Brand You" is dedicated to helping you reach your full potential in the workforce by developing and marketing the most important brand: you!

Andy West, the writer of the article, speaks in first person, and discusses his own personal experience in interviewing prospective employees, listing what impressed him and what didn't. He includes a list of dot point preparation musts, and insists you must know yourself completely before entering an interview. Typical portfolio mistakes are noted, as is advice on institutions designers are able to go to brush-up their skills.

The article is quite interesting and well written, making it an enjoyable and easy read. West's extensive experience in the design industry is beneficial to the credibility of the article, and he has some fine facts and comments to be heard.
A recommended read!
